When we bulk-purchase hollow boards, we need to be aware of the following points:
We not only need to indicate the positive tolerance for dimensions on the drawing, but also explicitly mark the positive tolerance for dimensions on the drawing. Generally speaking, there are three key dimensions on the drawing: one is the length shown on the drawing, another is the height indicated on the drawing, and the third crucial dimension is the inner and outer dimensions of the hollow-core box, which must be clearly specified.
If you don’t have drawings or aren’t sure how to create them, we’ll need to provide the hollow-core panel manufacturer—as accurately as possible—with information about the items you’ll be carrying in the future. The manufacturer can then design the dimensions of the hollow box based on the size of these items, ensuring that the hollow-core panels will be suitable for our use.
Of course, under any circumstances, we need to clearly inform the hollow-core board manufacturer about the intended application scenario for the box. For example, if the application scenario involves extremely high load-bearing requirements, the manufacturer will reinforce the hollow-core board accordingly. If the environment has special requirements—such as the need for antistatic properties—the manufacturer will produce an antistatic hollow-core board.
